Scott Statement on House Tax Reform Proposal

Washington – U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), a member on the Senate Finance Committee, released the following statement after the House Committee on Ways and Means put forth their tax reform proposal this morning:

“My colleagues in the House have taken another important step towards making the economy boom again for the American people,” Scott said. “As we move closer to passing comprehensive tax reform, I will remain focused on ensuring more families, grandparents, single moms, and young entrepreneurs can bring more of their hard-earned money home.
