Scott Statement on New FBI Director

Washington – U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) released the following statement after voting in support of Christopher Wray to serve as our new FBI Director:

“Our men and women at the FBI deserve to have a leader that understands the immense privilege associated with leading our nation’s top law enforcement agency. I am confident that the newly-confirmed Director Wray is prepared to take on this responsibility and has demonstrated he will be focused on doing what is best for the bureau and the safety of our citizens and country.”
