Senator Scott Supports McMahon for SBA Administrator

WASHINGTON, DC– U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) released the statement below regarding the confirmation of Linda McMahon to lead the Small Business Administration. She was confirmed by the Senate 81-19.

“As a former small business owner, I know the sacrifices made and risks taken by those trying to start their own business. To support their efforts, we need an administrator at the SBA that understands that while government cannot create jobs, it certainly can destroy them. I support Linda McMahon as SBA Administrator because I know she will help unleash the potential of the everyday entrepreneurs who put it all on the line to see their dreams become a reality. Our small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and the strong support Ms. McMahon will provide is invaluable.”
