Senator Scott’s School Choice Resolution Passes U.S. Senate

Washington – U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), a leading advocate for school choice in the United States Senate, released the following statement after passage of his resolution designating the week of January 25 through January 31, 2015 as “National School Choice Week:”
“I am pleased that the United States Senate has passed my resolution supporting school choice by designating the week of January 25 through January 31, 2015 as “National School Choice Week.” I know that access to a quality education is among one of the most powerful tools in our country. I have seen firsthand in my own life how it helps move families from poverty to prosperity and strengthens communities and neighborhoods throughout our country.”
