‘That is game over’: Tim Scott predicts Trump’s black support will rise 50% from 2016

Sen. Tim Scott believes that President Trump will see a 50% increase in his share of the black vote from 2016 and could earn as much as 15%.

“It will go from 8% in 2016 to a minimum of 12% in 2020,” Scott told Fox News host Neil Cavuto. “Trump could even get support from as much as 15% of black voters.”

“That is game over,” Scott added.

The South Carolina senator cited the rise in black homeownership, criminal justice reform, and historically low black unemployment as the reasons for his optimism.

“President Trump is not just talking a good game, he is walking a good game,” Scott added.
