U.S. Senator Tim Scott's amendment to provide consumers a clearer look at the costs associated with their health care plans under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was passed by a bipartisan vote of 56-44 in the U.S. Senate today. As reported this morning, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will change a key definition in its "distance rule" for the newly created Veterans Choice health program.
